WHAT TO DO

27. La Boca

If you want to experience classic Buenos Aires, head to La Boca during the day to see tango dancers and walk around Caminito, one of the city’s most iconic streets.

28. San Telmo

On Sundays, San Telmo is a must. The antique market around Plaza Dorrego is great for wandering, people-watching, and finding vintage pieces. While you’re there, stop by the Mercado de San Telmo for casual food, coffee, and local bites.

29. Museums

If museums are your thing, MALBA is great for modern Latin American art, and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes is a classic with an impressive permanent collection and free entry.

30. Shopping

For shopping, Palermo Soho is perfect for boutique stores, local designers, and cool cafés. If you’re more into malls, Galerías Pacífico is beautiful inside and very central, while Patio Bullrich is smaller and more high-end.

31. Walks

For a scenic walk and waterfront views, visit Puerto Madero. It’s great for an afternoon stroll or sunset drinks by the river.

32. Bus Tour

If you want to experience the city from a “hop-on-hop-off” bus, we recommend using Gray Line.

TIPS & SAFETY

Like any big city, it’s best to stay aware of your surroundings. Keep your phone secure in your bag, avoid flashing valuables, and be mindful in crowded areas. Stick to well-lit streets at night.

TRANSPORTATION

Rideshare

We recommend using Uber or Cabify for getting around.

Taxis

Or you can order a taxi. Look for official cars with signage and license numbers. At Aeroparque Jorge Newbery and Ministro Pistarini International Airport, always grab a taxi from the official stands inside the airport.

( Here are some taxi companies
we recommend. )

Bus

The bus system is also super reliable and easy to use. Just grab a SUBE card and recharge it at any kiosk. It’s a great way to get around during the day.
